Our white wines from Piedmonthave a long and prestigious tradition. Such is the case with our White Muscat, which gifts us sweet and pleasant wines that always have a very intense taste. Moscato d'Asti is a straw coloured wine with strong sweet notes, and can sometimes be slightly sparkling – a natural characteristic, not added artificially. Its cousin, which belongs to the family of reds, but has the same freshness and sweetness, is the Brachetto d'Acqui.
Staying on the lively, but moving to the dry whites, we find the Piemonte Chardonnay. Very light and pleasant, these features that make it ideal for consumption between meals. This vine finds its natural home in the hills of Alessandria and Asti. For this reason, it is one of the more expensive wines at the Cantina Sociale of Cassine, which offers it together with the Brut Chardonnay Spumante (Sparkling), which is grown in the nearby hills.
The Cantina Sociale of Cassine cannot omit another of the best white wines of Piedmont, like the Cortese di Gavi. Dry and harmonious, its delicacy makes it suitable for appetizers and accompaniments of light and sweet first and second courses. Ask our wine cellar for all your supplies:
